Weighing over 400 pounds would normally classify one as obese, but that didn’t stop Kelly Gneitling, a former national champion sumo wrestler from completing a marathon.

At 400-pounds, Gneitling became the heaviest man to ever complete the 26.2 mile L.A. Marathon course, finishing it in nine hours and 48 minutes. “I did it, but it was hell,” said Kelly Gneiting shortly after he crossed the finish line in Santa Monica.

It shouldn’t be too surprising that this isn’t the first time he finished the marathon, which he had previously completed in a little below 12 hours. He managed to beat his own personal record and set a new Guinness world record for the heaviest person to ever complete a marathon in his most recent run.
