A seven-year-old boy in London placed a $113k bid on a used fighter jet with his dad’s credit card after the listing went up on the British eBay.
The Harrier fighter jet was on sale for a fixed price instead of an auction, prompting the overenthusiastic child to hit the “Buy It Now” button.
The child’s father, who undoubtedly had enough money in his bank account to proceed with the transaction, was quick to remedy the situation by calling up the sellers at Jet Art Aviation and telling them of the error.
“His dad rang up and profusely apologized to us, so it’s still for sale. We’ve put it on as an auction now so that won’t happen again”
The listing still available for any airplane enthusiasts who are willing to drop a huge chunk of change for a piece of aviation history.
