Did you know that Charlie Sheen once wrote a book of poetry? The Associated Press reports that the notorious actor published a book of poetry in the 1990′s called “A Peace of My Mind,” with illustrations by director Adam Rifkin.
GQ Magazine managed to locate a copy of the rare book and has since begun publishing excerpts.
One verse reads: “A night of drink/ A night of hate/ A night as dark/ As last night’s date.”
Much of the poetry in his book is said to reflect a younger Charlie Sheen but with every bit as much of the #WINNING quality he’s known for today, especially on Twitter. He became an overnight sensation after earning over 1 million followers in 24 hours.
An owner of the rare book has put up a copy on sale on Ebay, where it reached nearly $600 in less than an hour.
