I don’t believe you can, in good conscience, call it a “newsroom”. You can just call it a “room” because news is reported by journalists, not by actors/puppets.
Actually, I’m pretty sure I recall Stewart covering this when it happened. I know it’s not the first time I’ve seen this.

Have you people ever heard of a thing called Photoshop? I could easily do this and say it was any news channel. People are so stupid sometimes.
I don’t really care if this is old or not. This is why I would never watch this channel. This is NOT a VIABLE NEWS ORGANIZATION. I hate to say it but ignorance comes to mind.

Our friend Mark: another fine example of an American idiot. Anyone smart enough would have automatically picked up on the misplaced label for Egypt. Then again, most of the world also requires passing geography as part of their curriculum.
hello every one i am Egyptian and i am sure there is some thing wrong on this map.
What is so insidious is not that FOX “accidentally” gets things wrong due to stupidity, it’s more that the purposely get things wrong to ensure their loyal viewers remain ignorant to the truth.
I don’t usually bother much with US news media outlets – there are so many others on offer via the Internet, especially from the UK. But when I do pick up news from a US source, it’s usually from ABC News or FOX News. FOX News in particular is a good source for picking up on anti-Leftist stories that the liberals in the mainstream media tend to surpress.
I’ve seen some map fails on other US sources, most notably from CNN. Most of the objections to FOX News come from people who have Leftist ideological motives and agendas.
Leftists aren’t particularly decent people, and given their record on freedom of speech when they’re in positions of authority, it’s not surprising that they’d try to surpress alternative sources for news. They’ve certainly done it elsewhere. But I see no reason to take them seriously here. I likewise don’t see how FOX News is any worse than the other US news media. It’s usually better – which, given the relatively poor quality of US news reportage in general, isn’t all that hard to manage.
According to me the fear we have has made us weaker. there should be no one’s control over the mediums of communication. As far as mass media is concerned, it has freedom of speech and no poiltical authority has the power to write or show what the reality or truth is!
This has to be photoshopped. As we know, news are now not just displayed, they are made. The media can do anything to get TRP. Those things in movies have come true now. Such a shame for media.
And, there is no way FoxMedia will just put anything, everything goes through review many times. There are absolutely no chance that they does not know where Egypt is.
