After resident Jennifer Espinoza left to take her daughter to school Monday morning, she left a frozen chicken in her kitchen sink to thaw. When she returned later in the morning, she noticed that the window to her bathroom was broken.

When she opened the door, she discovered a naked man sitting in the sink, fully naked, with a raw chicken in his mouth.

The naked burglar ignored her shouts and pleas to leave, and continued to feast on the uncooked chicken, prompting Espinoza to run outside and call for help. The man had reportedly locked her out of her own house after she left.

Police were forced to kick in the door to her house and use force to subdue the naked man, who flung pieces of chicken at them.

“The suspect refused to follow the officer’s instructions, so officers did tase the suspect,” said Gerardo Monreal, spokesman for the Dallas Police Department.

Following treatment at a local hospital, the suspect has been identified as 26-year-old Michael Cooks. He was charged with burglary and has several outstanding warrants to his name.
