The Troll dolls, which were originally designed to look creepy, off-putting and what some might call adorable–I wouldn’t–are getting a complete makeover for the 21st century.
Like the Bratz dolls, they’re being remade to wear short skirts, giant eyes and styled hair–changes which arguably destroy the Trolls’ original look and brand.
They are being remade as “Trollz” and the new line of toys will debut with the roll out of DiC’s new animated TV series that shows them with their all new looks.
The change, like most remakes, can only be described as lame.
